COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Comprehensive one day in-class recertification course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
PREREQUISITES:
To qualify for this recertification course, a current Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C certificate is required. Otherwise, the full blended class will need to be taken. Current certificate is requested via email prior to class or else to be presented when checking in.
DURATION:
7.5 hours in-class
TAKE HOME MATERIALS:
Red Cross First Aid & CPR mobile app. Certification card and optional wall certificate (or as required by legislation)
COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS:
Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps, attend and participate in 100% of the course, minimum 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation.
CERTIFICATION:
3-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED
